Self-Branding

I read an article over at PRDaily about building your personal brand and how it can lead to new opportunities. One tip is to "choose a portfolio." In other words, chose a medium to showcase who you are, along with your skills. I think blogging is the perfect medium to display these attributes.

I then decided to update my resume, complete with a self-logo. For the final product I chose the periwinkle! because it's not a color I see often, and it's perceived as an imaginative and creative color.

Have any of you guys taken steps to brand yourself?

I'm working on it now. It's definitely one of the hardest things to do because there are so many different facets to my style. I like the way your logos turned out. I also like the periwinkle, it's true you don't see that often.

That's a nice mark. Did you design it or have someone do it for you? I've done a bit of branding on my site, but not as much as I'd like... I've already redone it once, I'm sure they'll be many more to come :)
